About Me
In 1997, when Anne Rice and Brian Babcock first partnered to sell the Cuvee Lestat wines, I was deep into both The Vampire Lestat and collecting “stuff.” Naturally, I had to have some bottles of that limited edition wine. Over the next two years I acquired bottles of the 1995 and 1996 Syrah and Chardonnay, plus the 1996 Claret and framed, commemorative posters from both years. The wines have been mostly stored in my plug-in cellars, patiently waiting for me to “pay attention” to them. On Halloween, 2008 I decided to take inventory. These pictures are the result. Nothing here’s for sale (which isn’t to say they wouldn’t be some day, under the right circumstances), for enjoyment only.
